UPSTREAM-DOWNSTREAM:THE FLOW OF PETER TRUSLER'S PREHISTORIC ART
Opens to the Public in our main hall on Friday 19th November 2010

The output of creative minds can often reach well beyond what was originally intended.  Such is the case for the scientific art showcased in a book launched by Cambridge University Press in 2010, “The Artist and the Scientists.  Bringing Prehistory to Life” put together by artist Peter Trusler and two scientists.

This exhibition follows the broad reach of art, initially crafted for very specific purposes – a scientific or popular paper or book, an exhibition, a banner, a stamp series..... or even cheering up a colleague.

However, the images resulting from a close encounter on a number of occasions of Trusler with a range of scientists has had an influence far beyond the original projects.

Enter and investigate just how far and wide this influence has flowed............
